Augmented reality is the process of digitally combining our view of reality with additional information. In this project we developed an iPad application which uses the Metaio SDK to add 3D content to a video feed from the camera. The application obviates the process of writing code, creating a customized interface, and building a unique application for each new project, allowing a designer to simply add 3D files to a folder on the iPad. The interface presents a clean, branded Perkins+Will look providing the ideal form in which to share 3D project content with clients.
